Family Cooperative Requirements
Participation
We value the direct participation of parents and caregivers as it benefits the children, builds community among our families, and reduces costs so tuition can remain reasonable.
Palo Alto Friends Nursery School has a long history as a parent-cooperative preschool. We also believe in respecting families and the complexities of work and family life. So our approach to being a parent participation co-op is flexible. We work with you to create a participation plan that fits your interests, skills, and the needs of your child. We value your talent and your time!
Family Cooperative Requirements
Each family is asked to complete a total of 20 cooperative hours by the end of the school year - though we welcome any additional hours you contribute to making Friends a wonderful school! Categories of participation include:

We also ask families to donate one item to our annual Spring fundraiser, Fiesta. This can be as simple as something tasty for our bake sale, or as enticing as an item for our silent auction. Ask us about other options, too!
