Admission & Tuition

Enrollment is a three-step process:​

Step 1: Submit the application form. You will be added to our waitlist once we receive your application form AND your $65 application fee. Our waiting list opens up in mid-November for the following school year.

Step 2: Admission notices with placement forms confirming enrollment will be sent beginning in January.  Enrollment is offered on a first-come / first-served basis, space allowing, with priority enrollment for PAFNS alumni families and members of Friends Meeting.

Step 3: Families reserve placement for the following school year by sending their non-refundable tuition deposit via check with their placement form to the school by the date indicated on your form. New families will also need to submit a non-refundable placement fee of $150.

 

Eligibility

• For the two-year-old programs: the child must be two before their first day of school

• For the three-year-old programs: the child must be three years old by November 1st of that school year

• For the four and five-year-old programs: the child will be four years old by November 1st of that school year

• Parents can fulfill the family cooperative requirements​​​​

Enrollment fees and deposits

• $65 non-refundable application fee is due with submission of the Application form. We accept application fees by check. Please send application fees by mail to: Palo Alto Friends Nursery School at 957 Colorado Ave Palo Alto, CA 94303, or drop a check off in the mail slot on the office door at any time. The application fee is waived for continuing families.

• A non-refundable deposit equal to one month's tuition, plus a one-time $150 placement fee, is paid to secure your child's placement; the deposit is applied to your May tuition payment.
